Research Computing Day 2026
Our inaugural full-day event exploring how advanced computational infrastructure and data-intensive methods accelerate discovery across disciplines.
Faculty, researchers, postdocs and students — together.
The Center for Research Computing (CRC) brings the Rice community together for a day of learning and connection. Mornings are hands-on: technical workshops and live demonstrations. Afternoons feature a research colloquium, faculty lightning talks, and a student poster competition with prizes.
Free and open to all Rice faculty, staff, postdocs, and students. Registration is required to reserve workshop seats and reception catering.
